Timed Bidding – Dunn Bros Auctions

At Dunn Bros Auctions, we keep our timed bidding process simple, transparent, and fair.

How to Bid

• Register for a bidding account online.

• Approval may require ID verification (e.g. driver’s licence or utility bill).

• Once approved, you can place bids on any lots.

• All bids are legally binding and cannot be withdrawn.

Closing Lots

• Each lot has a scheduled closing time.

• If a bid is placed in the final 10 minutes, the lot will automatically extend to give all bidders a fair chance.

• Dunn Bros Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-order lots if necessary.

Buyers Premium & Fees

• A flat 20% Buyer’s Premium applies to all lots.

• VAT (20%) applies to the Buyer’s Premium (and to the hammer price where applicable).

• No hidden charges – Dunn Bros Auctions absorbs all BidSpotter and iBidder fees.

• 20% + VAT is the only fee you will pay.

Payment Options

• Bank Transfer – payment due within 24 hours of invoice.

• Personal Debit Cards accepted.

• Cash Payments – accepted up to £7,000 maximum (in line with UK Money Laundering Regulations).

• No credit cards or alternative payment methods accepted.

Viewing & Condition of Lots

• Viewing is available by appointment only, before bidding closes.

• All lots are sold strictly as seen.

• No warranties or guarantees are given.

• Dunn Bros Auctions accepts no responsibility for defects, faults, or breakages.

• Please study descriptions and images carefully before bidding.

Collection

• Collection is strictly by appointment after payment is received.

• Collection details will be sent with your invoice.

• Buyers have 5 working days to collect; storage charges apply thereafter.

• Delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. Vendors may offer delivery on some lots – see lot details.

Important Notes

• Only bid if you intend to purchase – all bids are binding.

• Payment must be completed before collection.

Viewing Days

We do not offer a specific Viewing Day for our Buckets & Sundries Auctions.

However, please call 01823 211888 and we will look to accommodate.
