How To Register

Creating a User Account is free of charge and allows you access to bid at any of our auctions. 

You can do this here ➡️ Register Now

Once your account is created, you need to select which auction you wish to bid on and you will then be passed through an approvals process.

 

First time buyers are required to pay a deposit, based on the credit limit requested. For example:

Once your deposit is received, you will receive email confirmation that you're approved to bid. 

 

Pre-Bidding Online

Pre-bidding is usually enabled upto 7 days prior to the Auction.

Once approved, as above, you will be able to login and bid using our state-of-the-art bidding platform.

Then, click into the Lot you are interested in, within the catalogue, and Place Bid in the visible box.

The bid placed is the maximum amount you are willing to pay for that item.

During the Live Auction the Auctioneer will bid on your behalf up to the maximum amount placed by you.

Once the auction has finished, invoices will be raised and emailed to the details provided. All Hammer Prices achieved will be subject to VAT, at the UK prevailing rate, as will any buyers premium.

*Invoices are subject to change within 48hours following the sale where a lot does not meet reserve, but the Vendor accepts your Highest Bid*

Once your invoice has been paid your equipment will be available for collection from our site in Taunton.

 

Bidding Online

Once approved, you will be able to login and bid using our state-of-the-art bidding platform.

 

All lots are sold in order and are Sold As Seen.

 

The Auctioneer dictates the pace of the Auction.

 

Where items are sold in groups, the winning bidder will have the choice of one or all. Where any do not sell, the Auctioneer will re-open the bidding.

 

To access the bidding platform, click the "Watch to Bid" button on the Home Page/ Current Auctions.

Buyers Premium

Our buyer commissions are the most competitive in the industry:

Where a lot sells for £7,000 or less, you will be charged 10% commission + VAT.

Where a lot sells for more than £7,000, you will be charged:
10% commission on the first £7,000, and then 4% commission on the remaining balance + VAT.

Example:
Hammer Price = £10,000

• First £7,000 at 10% = £700
• Remaining £3,000 at 4% = £120
• Total Buyers Premium = £820

Buyers Premium + 20% VAT = £984
Total amount payable = £10,984

 

Viewing Days

Viewing is strongly encouraged, as all lots are Sold As Seen.

We host a specific viewing day before each sale, with free onsite refreshments.

Where you cannot attend our sheduled viewing day, please call 01823 211888 and we will look to accommodate where possible.
