Well, what a time we’ve had! Not only has the yard had another expansion; but we’ve really come into our own in terms of using our existing facilities.
The facilities here at Dunn Bros SW are ones we like to boast about, especially our indoor Gantry Cranes which can lift to forty tonnes! They’re perfect for lifting containers full of items, off lorries for our auctions. The shed also houses a washing and valeting bay, the welder’s workshop and a respraying unit. All of this ensures that kit is entered into the sale in tip top condition ready for viewing and auction days.
Our auction site, that was once less than an acre, has now increased to its largest yet at eight acres! Following the demolition of the concrete batching plant, that was taking up valuable yard space, Tony the Yard Manager now has even more space to line kit up for our next onsite auction.
Not only has the yard grown, but so has the Dunn Bros Team! We welcomed the arrival of Antony, our new Yard Operative, Caitlyn our Sales and Marketing Executive and Jake our South West Sales Rep, within the last two months. They have all come into their own since joining the team and we are happy to have them. Ant has quickly become Tony’s right-hand man in terms of preparing the yard for auction and ensuring wagons are loaded and unloaded efficiently. Jake has used his years of farming expertise to make connections with clients and bring in consignments. Caitlyn has assisted Janice with the admin side of the auction and ensures the team are supplied with chocolate brownies on a weekly basis!
The team is continuing to grow, as we are on the lookout for two additional yard operatives. Don’t miss out on the chance to be a part of the fastest growing machinery auction in the South West!
